As the Chief Operations Officer at Thomson Investment Group, Jennifer Richter is responsible for overseeing company operations and ensuring the firm runs smoothly on a daily basis so that growth may occur. Beyond managing operations, she handles a number of other responsibilities that contribute to the enhanced experience clients can expect when working with Thomson Investment Group. She frequently attends client meetings to help ensure that the onboarding and account documents are properly reviewed and understood and that each meeting is thoroughly documented. To ensure the firm remains up-to-date, she assists with maintaining the website design, information management, software selection, and workflow processes and procedures. In addition, she provides executive support to the advisors and coordinates special projects.
A member of the team since 2004, Jennifer enjoys the opportunity to assist the company in growing and changing as new clients are brought on. She also assists with the development of new procedures and technology that enhance the client experience. Known for her strength and resourcefulness, she firmly believes that “where there is a will, there’s a way.” Jennifer is not one to give up, and she strives to ensure the success of the firm and clients.
Jennifer and her husband have two children, a granddaughter, grandson, and dog. When she isn’t spending time with her family and friends, she enjoys traveling, reading, and boating.
